Good morning, y'all!!

Ah, it's good to be back in blogland. I missed you folks!

So far I've only managed to read a couple of posts. Interesting to see what you've been up to. I already know that Gordon and Nick are on holidays - enjoy it, guys!

The things I've been up to since my last post:

Had a lovely time in Trier, will blog about it soon. The photos are already uploaded on my Webshots site but require a few more comments, I think.

The events calendar I compile for my American colleagues every month is getting more publicity now. Until recently, I had only provided it to an internal Newsletter (who only picked out a few events) and our local radio station who put it on their website, but now I've coordinated with a commercial organisation to publish it via their venues too. They have a commercial website which is quite popular among Americans and locals alike, and now they will also publish a free newspaper (something like the "Metro" in London). My events calendar is published in both media. Nice! :D

Compiling and translating the events calendar is one of the reasons why I'm so busy and have a lot less time for blogging. But like I said, I've missed you folks and am determined to dedicate more time to blogging again :b

It's hot here and I hate it. This past weekend, I only moved from the couch to the kitchen and back to the couch (and/or the toilet when nature called), that's it. Man, I'm lazy! :))

That fucking football championship is still getting on my nerves. They still refer to it in the media all the time. It's over! Get on with life!
Yesterday morning, after the final, I saw some teenagers or young adults with beer bottles, walking away from a "fan mile" - at 5'o'clock in the morning! What exactly were they celebrating?? They weren't Spaniards for sure. They were just drunkards, I guess. :roll:
One funny thing, though: I always knew who won when the Turks, Russians, and Germans were playing from the noise of the car horns (or lack thereof) *LOL*

It's slowed down a bit at work, thank God, so hopefully I'll find more time for blogging. I've been given an additional task some time ago, though, namely being in charge of the company's credit card, and that "business" is picking up pace now. What I mean is that more and more of our sub-offices ask me to get stuff for them. And since this is a bureaucracy, it involves lots of paperwork :roll:
But it will also get me out of the office a lot more than before :))

We've got a few more Latinos on board, and I really love working with them. They're not directly in my office but I see them often enough. One of them always sends his weekly input way too late and I had threatened him with having to take me out to dinner one day. Since then he's taken me out to lunch a couple of times already - and always paid for me, the gentleman :D

And that's almost all that's happened within the last month, except ...

... TMI (too much info): don't read this last paragraph if you hate TMI!

I've been suspecting it for quite a while but now I know for sure: I'm in my menopause. YAY!!! I can't wait for this stupid monthly period to be over!!
I know for sure now because I had two periods this month, and neither was down to stress. I wonder how long until menopause is over??
