Went to the Telekom shop yesterday to upgrade to DSL 6000 and get a new modem, and was greeted by an unusual sight:
(Sorry for the bad quality of the photo, it was a snapshot for which I couldn't take the time to change the white balance settings - and it's a bit out of focus too) :oops:
They had "Bavarian Day" that day - or something like that :))

Pro It was! But it wasn't British Telecom if this is what you're referring to.
But our Telekom has lots of problems too. Maybe that's why they needed this type of distraction??
I wished they dressed like this in the UK.
You can tell it's not in the UK, they're stood behind the counter. Over here they follow you round the shop like a shadow asking "Can I help you sir", so you ask them something, there is a blank expression then they go and fetch the departmental manager.

There's hardly any event where you don't find "Bierleichen" anymore. But at least you will see a lot of modern (= sexy) Dirndln at the Oktoberfest!
