Let me slowly unbutton my blouse and reveal all to you ...
Yeah - the guys among you wish!!
So, here's the cold harsh truth:
a.) When you look closely at the second photo of The Captain's Challenge, you will notice the thread (do you call it that?) of a spiderweb in the gap of the seed's filaments. You can also see it very faintly at the top left corner, starting in the dark area. So the dandelion seed wasn't caught in mid-flight - that would have been extremely difficult to focus, think of how fast the wind blows them.
I still think the photographer was a genius to have spotted it!
b.) I still remember it very well: it was either after my first or second operation for Crohn's disease (so around 18 / 19 years ago). I was off sick and because of lax lifestyle and cortisone, I couldn't sleep at night. At the time I was lucky to be able to eat just anything, so I was having cold pizza in the middle of the night, it was past midnight. I was zapping through the TV channels and got caught by what I saw on Austrian TV: I saw a pair of gloved hands with one of those round bone saws (similar to those they use for casts), cutting through bone. Was I watching a really bad splatter movie?? I saw raw meat but couldn't quite make out what it was. A butcher? Were they showing something about mistreated animals?
Then it hit me: the scalp of a human had been pulled from the back over his face, and someone was cutting open his skull!!
I was hooked. Fascinated.
Austrian TV was showing a complete autopsy from a Moscow hospital, no commentary, just the occasional Russian utter from the doctors. All details as you would expect: weighing of the various organs, rummaging through the intestines (and yes, they did RUMMAGE through them), until they looked at his heart in detail - he had died of a heart attack. The autopsy stopped then.
So yes, statement #2 is true, I have seen a real autopsy albeit not live. Since then I so want to see one live, but only on a person who's deceased very recently. None of those liquefied bodies or decayed from heat, not sure if I could stand the smell. But a "clean" body, only one day old ... YES!
c.) When I was 18 and had just graduated from school, my parents invited me to a vacation with them in the States. On my flight back to Europe, I noticed a black guy with a saxophone case waiting for the same flight as I. And as it happens, we sat next to each other - it was indeed JT Taylor from Kool & the Gang! He had already left the band at the time and was flying back to Germany to start a new career (which failed). And yes, he was flying Economy!
d.) That of course means that #1 was a lie - I have never had sex with two men at the same time but am curious as to what that would be like
Congrats to all who have seen through my lie, and sorry to all of those who are disappointed now!! You didn't really think I would do anything like that, do you??
