Remember when I told you about my little nocturnal visitor.

Yesterday morning I finally got some photos of little mousy:

Sorry about the lousy quality of these photos. It was still dark (dusk) when I took the photos so I had a hard time focussing the camera properly (auto-focus didn't work). That wouldn't have been such a problem if the balcony door hadn't been so VERY dirty
Plus the ISO was set to highest (3600) which makes photos very grainy.

I wonder if Mousy visits all balconies in the building? It probably does. But mine might be the only one with enough mess reachable bird food out

But it was I who called them, it was not that they caught me doing anything illegal.

Oh SHUSH! Who said they don't believe me??

What happened: I was doing a Twitter search on #sex and found a site that had photos of seemingly VERY young boys in very suggestive positions. There was no "real" pornography on the second page (after the "entry" page) but a paedophile would still enjoy those photos. And I'm a blatant opponent of paedophilia, so I did what I thought was right and called it in to the police.

They told me not to open any other of the links and said they would come around in about an hour. I didn't know what would happen therefore in a panic, I transferred my Porn folder (no "teen" stuff) onto the USB stick, deleted "Porn" from my Bookmarks, and hid all external drives (USB, external hard drive, and even the netbook). I also deleted all browsing history and temporary internet files in case they took my computer back with them.

Anyway, the two plain-clothes cops were very nice and did not take my computer - obviously -, but it was still very embarrassing to tell them what happened and scroll through the Twitter Sex pages with them watching over my shoulder. I was sweating profusely and turned bright red - and that was not because of any sexual arousal, I can tell you that!!

They just wrote down the link and how I found it and then left again. The whole thing only took a couple of minutes. But I'm still a bit shaky and thoroughly embarrassed.

But this means no more online (adult) porn for me in the near future. There's a law in Germany that allows police to scan your online activities if they think you might be a criminal. They're probably reading this right now

Oh, BTW: the boys on the site I found might just be old enough to be considered "teens" and therefore it's not illegal. What I mean is that they're very young looking teens. But the cops will check the links on the site, and who knows, they might come across something more. I'm kind of hoping they will, we need to stop paedophilia.
And I've asked for their direct phone number. If I find anything again, I'll call it in again. Hoping they won't take my computer and find anything that's private *ahem*
